Gosh, Russ, it's been over two months since we've posted a blog. Oh, My God, Rascal. I had no idea. Don't say that, Russ! You'll get us into trouble. Rascal is not God. Jehovah God is the only true God. '(NASB) Deuteronomy 32:16 "They made Him jealous with strange gods; With abominations they provoked Him to anger.' I'm sorry, Rascal. That was just an exemplifying expression. Watch your mouth, Russ. Or you'll get us into this deeper. '(CEV) Exodus 20:7 Do not misuse my name. I am the LORD your God, and I will punish anyone who misuses my name.' WOW, Rascal! I never thought... Russ, you need to begin thinking before you speak. '(Darby) 1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.' Thank you, Rascal. But the scripture says, '(CEV) James 3:8 But our tongues get out of control. They are restless and evil, and always spreading deadly poison.' And another translation says, '(NKJV) James 3:8 But no man can tame the tongue. [It is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.' That is correct, Russ. But God is not a man. '(CEV) Numbers 23:19 God is no mere human! He doesn't tell lies or change his mind. God always keeps his promises.' He is God. Via His Holy Spirit, He can tame our tongues. Well, Rascal, I guess that I need The Tongue Tamer? You've always said that "We get what we say." God's Holy Scriptures say that, Russ. '(NASB) Job 8:21 "He will yet fill your mouth with laughter And your lips with shouting.' ' (NASB) Jeremiah 1:9 Then the LORD stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me, "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.' '(NASB) Ecclesiastes 5:6 Do not let your speech cause you to sin and do not say in the presence of the messenger of God that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice and destroy the work of your hands?' And God says that we get what we say, I guess, huh Rascal? Indeed He does, Russ. 'Mark 11:22 Jesus told his disciples: Have faith in God! 23 If you have faith in God and don't doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will. 24 Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith.' WOW! That's AWESOME, Rascal! Jesus even said that our words carry with them a more awesome power, Russ. '(KJV) Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.' Well, that works for you, Rascal. You're "An Apostle." It works for everyone, Russ, that is operating within The Lord's perfect or permissive will. And it is "WE" that is "An Apostle of The Lord." We are one. Remember? Well, Rascal, my better half - some well meaning folks say we shouldn't be preaching a "Prosperity with Health & Healing Gospel." People get upset. Yes, Russ, some people sure do. LOL. They can't accept that "The Good News" is THAT good. Jesus said, '(CEV) John 10:10 A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.' Some highly thought of people say that we have a demon, Rascal. Those same types of devil deceived people said the same thing about Jesus, Our Lord, Russ. '(NASB) John 10:20 Many of them were saying, "He has a demon and is insane. Why do you listen to Him?" We should be happy, Russ, when we are mistreated like Our Savior was.('CEV) Luke 6:22 God will bless you when others hate you and won't have anything to do with you. God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you, all because you are a follower of the Son of Man.' Well, Rascal, we certainly have been blessed since we last posted a blog. If we are going to have time to write and submit any more of "Our Lord's Inspired" ezine articles or post other important things onto Jesus4You.ws or MilesBooks.com, we need to wrap this blog up. People that are interested in what we've been saying will just have to venture more deeply into the many sections of our websites. I want to listen again to the new Kris Kristofferson video release that we've just posted into our "Activist Issues" section. I love it. Good Idea, Russ. Let'How s leave our blog readers with the clear Contemporary English Version translation of one our friend and fellow apostle, Paul's, letter to other gentile believers: '(CEV) Romans 10:1 Dear friends, my greatest wish and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. 2 I know they love God, but they don't understand 3 what makes people acceptable to him. So they refuse to trust God, and they try to be acceptable by obeying the Law. 4 But Christ makes the Law no longer necessary for those who become acceptable to God by faith. 5 Moses said that a person could become acceptable to God by obeying the Law. He did this when he wrote, "If you want to live, you must do all that the Law commands." 6 But people whose faith makes them acceptable to God will never ask, "Who will go up to heaven to bring Christ down?" 7 Neither will they ask, "Who will go down into the world of the dead to raise him to life?" 8 All who are acceptable because of their faith simply say, "The message is as near as your mouth or your heart." And this is the same message we preach about faith. 9 So you will be saved, if you honestly say, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death. 10 God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to others. 11 The Scriptures say that no one who has faith will be disappointed, 12 no matter if that person is a Jew or a Gentile. There is only one Lord, and he is generous to everyone who asks for his help. 13 All who call out to the Lord will be saved. 14 How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear, unless someone tells them? 15 And how can anyone tell them without being sent by the Lord? The Scriptures say it is a beautiful sight to see even the feet of someone coming to preach the good news. 16 Yet not everyone has believed the message. For example, the prophet Isaiah asked, "Lord, has anyone believed what we said?" 17 No one can have faith without hearing the message about Christ. 18 But am I saying that the people of Israel did not hear? No, I am not! The Scriptures say, "The message was told everywhere on earth. It was announced all over the world." 19 Did the people of Israel understand or not? Moses answered this question when he told that the Lord had said, "I will make Israel jealous of people who are a nation of nobodies. I will make them angry at people who don't understand a thing." 20 Isaiah was fearless enough to tell that the Lord had said, "I was found by people who were not looking for me. I appeared to the ones who were not asking about me." 21 And Isaiah said about the people of Israel, "All day long the Lord has reached out to people who are stubborn and refuse to obey." |
